“Book of Life” Graduation Ceremony 2025
In a joyous ceremony on Saturday 17 May, 2025, 251 adult learners graduated from the Bible Society’s transformative Book of Life program—a five-level biblical and leadership formation for adults seeking to deepen their biblical literacy and knowledge.
The graduation, held at Notre Dame du Louaize convent, marked a significant milestone for participants who have journeyed through an intensive curriculum exploring the foundations of Christian Scripture, spiritual growth, and theological understanding. The final level of the program focused on biblical leadership models, equipping graduates with essential tools to sharpen their leadership skills and serve more effectively within their churches and communities.
“The Book of Life journey was not an easy one with all the challenges that Lebanon faced since 2019” said Dr. Mike Bassous, General Secretary of the Bible Society. “Today, we celebrate you as a proof of Hope for Lebanon.”
Over the course of the program, learners engaged with Scriptures through guided studies, mentorship, and practical application, growing in both knowledge and faith. With the completion of Levels 4 and 5, graduates are now equipped to lead with integrity, compassion, and a solid biblical foundation.
The Bible Society extends heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and expresses gratitude to the mentors who made this achievement possible.
The Bible Society’s mission is to spread the Holy Bible’s message and culture to all generations through translating, publishing, and distributing the Scriptures using visual, audio-visual, readable, and digital formats, encouraging people to read and engage with God’s word, advocating the Bible cause to uphold human dignity, and partnering with all Churches and Christian institutions.
